How does Dustin keep you moving? 
By placing a lot of trust in me and what I do and making sure that I have the right tools to do my best. I feel that nothing holds me back, and that Dustin is doing everything possible to help me improve. Our team is always encouraged to be curious and try out new ideas. Thanks to great collaboration with other teams, we are able to evaluate our efforts from many different perspectives in order to learn and move forward.

Which type of person do you think would thrive working at Dustin?
Someone who is curious and data-driven, and is not afraid to change their perspective when the world around them changes. Also, someone who likes to have a good laugh during team meetings.

What do you like best about your job?
Apart from working with fantastic people and having the possibility for a great work-life-balance, I get to be involved in all levels of our business. I could be working on adding negative keywords in the morning, and then move straight to a meeting with my managers’ manager to discuss strategy on what profitability levels to aim for.

How does Dustin keep you moving?
In my role, I’ve gotten a lot of new tasks and responsibilities over time. This not only helps me continue to develop but it also keeps me on my toes! For example, I have the responsibility to create software design and machine learning solutions for different areas of the business. In creating these solutions, I have a lot of design freedom. This is a lot of fun and it also challenges me to explore different types of solutions based on business needs and project complexity.

Why do you think someone should choose to work at Dustin?
So many things are changing and happening in the IT industry and in the online retailer landscape. Since Dustin is a player in both, I feel like there are so many opportunities to address and ways to contribute through your work. But even though Dustin is an established player, it doesn’t have the feel of a big organisation with a lot of bureaucracy. The culture is open and it is easy to reach out to and work with others across the company.

What do you like best about your job?
My favourite thing about my job is that our team’s analyses, projects and solutions lead to insights that truly drive important business decisions. I also really appreciate that we are given so much freedom and ownership over our work and the solutions we create. It is really cool to be able to contribute so directly and have an impact on the business through my work.

What do you like best about your job within Business Development & Data Analytics?
Dustin is a very ambitious company, which means there are a lot of interesting projects going on for us as a team. We are data driven and get the chance to see many different areas within the company. The best part of my job is being able to work on fun projects that help the company grow while being around great people.
