Stakeholder dialogue & materiality assessment

We have an established process for continuously engaging with our stakeholders, including customers, employees, investors, suppliers, and civil society, to understand their expectations of our sustainability work. The insights from these dialogues form the basis for our double materiality assessment, which helps us identify which sustainability topics are most material both to us and to our stakeholders.

We review our double materiality assessment at least once a year. In the event of significant changes, such as a shift in strategy, geographical expansion, or the addition of new product categories, it may need to be updated more frequently. The identified material topics are approved by our Board of Directors and form the foundation of our strategic priorities and 2029/30 targets.

Our five material topics

Through our double materiality assessment, we have identified five sustainability topics that are material to our business:

  • Climate: Reducing climate impact throughout the value chain.
  • Resource use and circularity: Using resources efficiently and extending product lifespans.
  • Our own employees: Ensuring safe, inclusive, and fair working conditions within our own operations.
  • Workers in the value chain: Respecting human rights and improving working conditions among our suppliers.
  • Business ethics and anti-corruption: Promoting a responsible corporate culture with high standards of ethics and integrity.
