Our history
In 1984 two entrepreneurs, Bo and Ulla Lundevall, could see that IT was an industry of the future. They commenced mail order sales of computer accessories as a sideline to their zoo store in the Stockholm suburb of Farsta. The best-selling product was multi-coloured floppy disks.
We began selling our product offering online back in 1995. B2B customers were in focus from the beginning, but a consumer offering was also launched in 2004.
When Altor became the new principal owner in 2006, the Nordic expansion began. Denmark was first in 2007, with the acquisition of Computerstore. The e-commerce offering was then launched in Norway, followed by the acquisition of Norsk Data Senter. In 2013, we became established in Finland through the acquisition of Businessforum and the online platform was launched there three years later.
In February 2015, Dustin was listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
In 2018, Dustin expanded outside the Nordic region with the acquisition of Vincere Group in the Netherlands and in 2019, the online offering was launched in the country.
In the years since the stock exchange listing, we have broadened our offering through add-on acquisitions of companies specialising in services and solutions in all of our markets. This broadens our service offering and continues to strengthen our position.
