Sustainable development goals

In 2015 all the United Nations Member States agreed on 17 global goals to be achieved by 2030, aimed to eliminate poverty and hunger, put human rights into practice, achieve equality and empowerment for women and girls and guarantee enduring protection of the planet and its natural resources.

We aim to actively contribute to achieving the global goals by focusing on the ones that are most relevant to our operations and strategy and, where we as a company can have the greatest impact. For us, these are goals 5, 8, 12, 13, and 16.

We have a strict prohibition against forced, slave and child labour.

Our progress towards targets 8.7 & 8.8:
At the end of 2021/22, we had conducted a total of 20 factory audits in our supply chain, which is in line with our yearly target. During the audits, 475 non-conformances related to human rights, decent working conditions, health & safety, environment and anti-corruption were identified. Over 70 per cent of the cases of non-conformance identified in the first and second quarters of the financial year have been corrected.

SDG 12Ensure sustainable consumption and production of products and services, as well as use resources efficiently

Examples of Dustin’s contribution to UN global goal 12

Associated SDG targets we support: 12.2 & 12.4

Our offering:
Takeback as a Service - The greatest impact we can have on the climate is by extending product lifetime by encouraging our customers to return products they do not use anymore to us. Functional products that can be reused will be sold as second hand and are thereby offered a new life as part of the circular economy. Takeback as a Service is an end-of-life return service for reusing old IT products, which makes it easy for customers to help reduce the climate impact. Products that cannot be reused are recycled in a responsible manner.

Our progress towards targets 12.2 & 12.4:
At the end of 2021/22 we had recovered a total of 423,000 old IT products. During the financial year 2021/22, we have increased the circular share of our net sales from 12.4 per cent to 25.0 per cent.  In 2021/22 around 33 per cent of our sales in the Nordic region were eco-labelled IT products we have as part of our range
