Our ambition

We reduce the emissions in our value chain and help our customers do the same. By shifting our portfolio towards low carbon products and services, and giving customers climate data to guide their choices, we drive real change. Our climate targets are validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). They include major CO₂e reductions by 2029/30 and a net-zero CO₂e emissions target for 2049/50.

How we work with climate

The IT industry relies on global supply chains from production to use. This creates both an opportunity to reduce emissions and a responsibility to act. That is why we work with partners across the value chain, including suppliers, logistics partners and data centers, to reduce emissions, and we help our customers do the same. Our targets are validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and by 2029/30 we aim to reduce Scope 1 and 2 CO₂e emissions by 50 percent, and Scope 3 CO₂e intensity* by 51.6 percent, compared to 2023/24. We are committed to reaching net-zero CO₂e emissions across our value chain by 2049/50.

To get there, we focus on where emissions are highest and where we can make the biggest difference. We are shifting our portfolio towards low carbon products and services, including managed services, software, and lifecycle solutions that help reduce emissions and extend product use. We prioritise suppliers that commit to science-based targets and we support our customers with product level climate data to guide informed choices. In our own operations we continue to reduce emissions by using renewable electricity, switching to electric vehicles and using biodiesel (HVO) in trucks. We track, follow up and openly report on progress with independent validation and we continuously improve our data quality. Together with our customers and suppliers, we are working towards net-zero across our value chain and challenge the industry to take climate action.

Targets for climate

Our climate targets are verified by SBTi and based on our emission levels from 2023/24:

Targets for 2029/30

  • Reduce CO₂e emissions in Scope 1 and 2 by 50%
  • Reduce CO₂e intensity* in Scope 3 by 51.6%

Targets for 2049/50

  • Reach net-zero CO₂e emissions across our value chain

*CO₂e intensity = tCO₂e / MSEK value added (EBITDA + personnel cost).

These targets are aligned with the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C goal and our long-term commitment to reducing our negative climate impact.

Supporting our customers

We help customers measure and reduce their emissions through climate reports for IT purchases, lifecycle services that enable reuse, refurbish, and recycling, as well as advice on IT solutions that support customers’ own climate targets.

Transparency and follow-up

We report our climate work annually according to established international frameworks such as CSRD, the EU Taxonomy, and the GHG Protocol, to identify climate-related impacts, risks, and opportunities, and to ensure transparency for customers, investors, and other stakeholders.
