Guidance and compliance

Our business ethics guidelines provide a clear framework for all employees to follow and are available in local languages. We require all employees to read and sign our guidelines. To minimize the risk of bribery, we apply the following principles:

• Our employees must not offer or accept gifts or benefits, directly or indirectly, from third parties if it is not in line with good business practice and applicable law.
• In case of any doubt, employees are expected to seek advice from their immediate manager, group management or the company’s General Counsel.
   

Whistleblowing function

All employees are encouraged and expected to report suspected violations to their immediate manager, group management, or the company’s General Counsel. There is also a whistleblowing system that enables anonymous reporting of suspected breaches. The function is overseen by the Chairman of the Audit Committee.

The whistleblowing service is provided by an external partner, WhistleB Whistleblowing Centre, to ensure your anonymity. The communication channel is encrypted and password-protected. All reports are treated confidentially.
