Our ambition

For us, circularity means ensuring products are kept in circulation for as long as possible and using fewer new materials by increasing the share of services sales. We see circularity as a crucial part of a responsible IT offering. As a European IT partner, we actively work to keep products in use for as long as possible, reduce resource consumption, and contribute to a more circular economy. This strengthens both our customers’ and our own competitiveness while reducing climate impact ,waste and the need for new material extraction.

How we work with circularity

Our circularity efforts are based on three main areas:

Lifecycle services:

We offer Takeback, reuse, repair, refurbishment, and responsible recycling of IT products through our Takeback Centres in Växjö and Wijchen. By prioritising reuse, we extend the lifespan of IT products and reduce the need for new production.

Service offerings:

We develop services that enable customers to use IT resources more efficiently, reduce the need for new products, and plan for reuse. Our product lifecycle portal gives customers control over the status, location, and service needs of their IT equipment.

Collaboration with suppliers:

We collaborate with suppliers to promote the design and use of circular materials, and to increase the share of recycled content in products. Through our Supplier Code of Conduct, we require suppliers to start phasing in recycled materials when producing new products.

Targets for circularity

Increase revenue per kilo of virgin material used by 20% by 2029/30, driven by reuse, refurbishment and lifecycle services (baseline 2023/24).

Already in 2024/25, together with our customers, we took back almost 1 million IT units.

Supporting our customers

We offer a Takeback service for our customers which makes it easy to return IT products for reuse or recycling. The service includes secure collection, certified data erasure, and the possibility of financial compensation for equipment that can be reused. Through our Takeback portal, customers also receive detailed reports on climate impact and the volume of IT returned, supporting their own sustainability reporting.

Results and impact

Our commitment to circularity helps reduce electronic waste, lower CO₂e emissions, and decrease the need for extracting virgin materials. Through our solutions, customers can reduce their climate impact while optimising their use of IT resources and creating economic value. We report our circularity work annually according to established international frameworks such as CSRD and the EU Taxonomy.
